ALAN HOWARD

I have worked as a professional photographer on and off for the last 20 years. My first jobs involved shooting album covers for US hip hop artists releasing mixtapes in the UK. If you have anything by dj Rectangle on your record shelf, odds are it was me – if you don’t I totally understand.

In the early 2000’s I occasionally directed music videos just as the music industry was collapsing in on itself. In 2009 I co-wrote and directed my first feature film The Drummond Will. It was critically pretty well received and was theatrically released in the US and Canada. Almost no one watched it.

Since then my film career has settled comfortably into the “many projects in various stages of development” that I’m sure many actors are familiar with. The projects include an adaptation of Don Quixote and a sit-com about The Illuminati.

I have been shooting headshots for actors for over six years. I am utterly in love with the form and I am still learning every day.
